This step by step guide will assist users in adding network printers in Windows 10.
- Click on the Window's Orb button in the bottom left (formerly the Start button in XP).
- In the Search box, enter \\print.college.columbia.edu (Copying and pasting this text is easier), then click on the share name when it appears in the Start menu.
- In the window that opens, find the printer you want to install and double click on it.
- Installation progress will be shown in a small rectangular window. When it disappears the printer is ready for use.
