The OnBase client is available on the Columbia University network only. To access it remotely you must be connected to the CU network via the VPN or you can access it via Terminal Services (TS).
The Web Client will log you in automatically since you're already authenticated on the network when you log in to your workstation or TS server. This is a secure method and does not require you to provide credentials.
You must use Internet Explorer for the Web Client. Other browsers are not supported by CCIT for the Web Client.

You must close the thick client before starting the web client. You can only have one client open at a time.
Accessing the OnBase Web Client on the TS server
In the TS server the shortcut for the Web Client is located:
- On the Desktop
- In the start menu
- In the start menu > Programs > Hyland > OnBase Web Client
Working with the OnBase Web Client
The web client has most of the features of the Thick Client that's installed on your workstation. Here are some quick pointers to items that are not easily apparent.
To access Workflow, click the main menu and choose Workflow.
Window Layout and Document Filter
To rearrange your window layout you can use the Window Layout Options button circled in the picture. Additionally, when working in workflow you can filter documents once you enter a Life Cycle. See image below for the filter button.
